Open Enrollment Changes become effective January 1st of each year.
Note: Changes to Benefit Plans Outside of Open Enrollment Require a "Qualifying Event"
Examples:
- Birth
- Adoption
- Marriage
- Divorce
- Loss of Benefits Coverage on Another Plan
Benefit changes may be made within 31 days of the "Qualifying Event". Documentation of the event is required to be turned in along with Enrollment Forms, such as; recent tax return, marriage certificate, birth certificate, court documents, etc.
