Title 1 - Parent and Family Engagement Policies
The San Ysidro School District is committed to building strong partnerships between schools, families, and the community through its Title I LEA and School-Level Parent and Family Engagement Policy. We offer meaningful opportunities for parents and families to participate in decision-making, support student learning, and engage in school activities through workshops, advisory committees, parent conferences, school events, and ongoing communication about student progress and district programs. Translation and interpretation services are provided to ensure equitable access for all families, with additional outreach and support for English Learners, Students with Disabilities, Homeless Youth, foster youth, and other unduplicated student groups. The district continues strengthening family engagement, communication, and support systems to improve student attendance, connectedness, and academic success for all students.
